Drive into London?
Discussion
The London Eye is pretty at night. The lights are on now, but they do turn them off later (no idea when). Otherwise, as suggested, the Tower and Tower Bridge are nice and probably lit, ditto Parliament, as is London Bridge from Tower side (red lighting, continued from a Poppy day fly-over). Trafalgar Square should be lit most of the night, but I don't remember it being particularly colourful as a rule.
Enjoy.

Well I had a nice drive all round some of the above stuff. Scouted out a place where I need to maybe go for interview so that was useful.
Som imagine my displeasure to be flashed (in the face) on the A3 by Robin hood roundabout, f
king flash was almost red right in my face.

It is a test camera, so you *might* be lucky there.

Its no fun any more.
Years ago you could cane it in all the way down the A4, Cromwell Road, Knightsbridge down to Sloane Square and then along the Kings Road all without issue and not a camera in sight.
Bit like Out Run at night.
Ahhh, happy days, even if we were in s
t old cars.
Along with traffic lights at every place they can think of, that are phased to allow 80 year old grandma's on bicycles to not stop while pottering along at 5 mphYears ago you could cane it in all the way down the A4, Cromwell Road, Knightsbridge down to Sloane Square and then along the Kings Road all without issue and not a camera in sight.

ragged a Fiesta 1.1L on that very route a number of times late at night (mid / late eighties).I had contact, at the time, with folks in the Lambo dealership workshop (can't quite remember but Brentford somewhere). Good stories about sons of Sheiks doing 100+ on Park Lane in highley modded Diablos at around 03:00 and then shooting the breeze with Met BiB afterwards.
As I recall, drink driving was also socially acceptable at the time / in the place. Good that some things change.
Cheers,
Eric
