Chunky girl in our office is known as Vampire.

She gained this after a few lunches where she was first in the queue and proceeded to demolish the buffet.

Vampire the Buffet Slayer is the full name.

Working on the railway i always hear funny nick names, today has been no exception, anyone else got any to add?

"teabag ted" so called because he used to pick old teabags up off the floor, dry them out and re use them.

"trigger the digger" so called because he was good at digging holes.

"boomer" so called because he spoke with a very loud voice!

"sheep dip" because he stank in the spring at the same time the farmers are dipping sheep....
It sounds like an absolute hoot working on the railways. Is that just one really funny bloke who invents them all , or do you all have a go?

I keep reposting someone elses nickname (which is a sad thing to do) but it is so funny:

Bloke posted on the other thread that a kid at his school was nicknamed "Hornby"-not, as you may think, because of his love of train sets, but because his father commited suicide on front of a train.

Been the kind of person who would usually laugh at anything I didn't really find that funny...
