....the Scooby Tunnel Run on Saturday nite?
Joined in on the annual Tunnel Run for charity on Saturday nite - convoying through Dartford Tunnel, Blackwall Tunnel, Limehouse Link, Rotherhithe and back again.
Managed to raise £1,226 (final figure still growing at the mo) for Essex Air Ambulance and had some fun.
We had fun but some of the general public caught up in it looked slightly confuzzled as to what the hell was happening with hundreds of Subarus descending on the capital!

Beginning to wish I hadn't said anything now!
Most of the people there that I knew are not in the slightest bit chav - they haven't done any kind of crap modifications to their car and enjoy the car for what it is intended.
But unfortunately yes there are people who own them that believe that they know better than a world rally team and put the most god awful tat on them in some mistaken belief it makes them (a) go faster, (b) look better or (c) sound better!

I can assure you I was not in a shell suit! Rarely wore one the first time they were actually fashionable and I'm not about to go back to wearing such a thing in this day and age!Must admit to having been wearing a hoodie but it was a little on the chuffing cold side and was trying to stay warm. But my underwear was most definitely of the black and lacy variety.
Paul V aka Noisy and myself got invited to this night when we were sat at traffic lights by a guy in a scooby, unfortuantly we couldnt hear the dates or times over the exhaust noise....
Sure there were some chavs there, but also some genuine people. I for one wouldnt attend a Scooby meet in a TVR though, I suspect people would try it on, and I just cant be arsed with it.

What clothing was I meant to wear then?
Should I have purchased and worn the standard issue Subaru anorak then?
I can guarantee I only wear tracksuit bottoms for their intended purpose i.e. whilst doing some form of sport and I only wear a hoodie when its cold and I need to be warm, not to cover my identity while on a crime spree!
