Girly and I were in a bar last night (Baroosh in Hertford, over 21s), when a people carrier pulled up outside. Three kids aged no more than 8 all in Halloween costumes jumped out the van and straight into the bar. They were carrying small buckets full of coins. They ran around the bar saying "trick or treat!" to everyone in there, some of whom actually gave them money. They were soon kicked out.

Is this a common thing now? Parents dropping their kids off outside pubs so they can go in and collect money a week before Halloween? Very poor.

I can't think of anything constructive to say about that, except 'bds'.
