Colloidal Silver - "Cures what ailes ya" or "BS"?

A friend of mine at work swears by Colloidal Silver, takes a swig a day and says it makes him less susceptible to catching germs and stuff... even kept the mossies off him when he was on holiday in the far east.

has anyone else tried it?

Never heard of it, but it sounds like something you smear on your piles...
