I do all the bloody cooking. My gf does her packed lunch but that's about it. Most of the people I know either share it or the woman takes the lead.

It's starting to annoy me. I did a lovely kedgeree last night and the ungrateful little cow didn't even acknowledge its beauty!

Forced her to make me a bacon sarnie this morning though!

It's me that cooks.

She always says thank you. And she tries to find time to cook some days.

She does other stuff...and I don't mind cooking.

I do the cooking because I enjoy it. The other half probably cooks once every couple of months or so.

My wife does most of the cooking as she gets home before me. I tend to cook at weekends and always do the fry ups!

as we are down to just me and Kippax (and her cullinary skills make me look like gordon ramsey) in the cookster household i recon its the woman in the chinky chippy or the pizza man, then it could be kebab man or the chef in the Indian across the road, the bird in the deli restaurant place is ok too so we frequent there as well. Then there is the cafe for bacon buttys but we dont always get up that early.
Feck when will my kitchen reopen?.......I WILL NEVER EVER allow chef time off again...Holidays you've st em mate.

Stop cooking then, that\'ll learn her for not acknowledging your work of art.

To be honest though - if you\'re making kedgeree, I suspect someone else is cooking for her elsewhere.

Roughly 50/50 split.

I quite enjoy cooking, clearing up is a different matter.

I do the cooking, she washes up. She does cook the dessert sometimes though, savoury food is more my forte.

Hope you're not expecting a big story here, had my first one the other week and spent 3 days with my head down the pan. It had absolutely nothing to do with the 3 day pub crawl I was on.. Bloody Burger King

My Wife. She is an outstanding cook. To the extent that she does the majority of the home cooking for most of our friends and family as well. Its quite common for 10+ friends and family to show up a few nights a week for a good feed - and she always delivers the most amazing meal in a ridiculously short space of time. It is generally agreed that I am the better cook on the BBQ but I have my limits, when I use more than 1 BBQ at a time, I often loose control and some food gets overdone.

I cook. It's my hobby, and I'm better at it than the mrs.
