Hellboy

[jollygreen]

I just watched it on dvd. What a heap of s h i t. First 10 minutes were ok i spose.

Never mind though, cause Man on Fire's just starting on bbc3...

Have you seen Run Fat Boy Run? That will make up for your waste of time, it was on sky tonight I think

[carmonk]

You mean Golden Army? First Hellboy was pretty good. Golden Army was appalling. Everyone was raving about it and after seeing Pan's Labyrinth I was expecting great things. I was so disappointed. It was truly st.

Taste is a strange thing isnt it?

I thought Hellboy was great, its a larger than life comic book movie with dark undertones. Not the best movie of all time but definitely one I enjoyed.

Hellboy 2 is much more hollywood and big budget, I thought it was an excellent "superhero" movie in the same vein (and superior to) Iron Man, the new Hulk movie, Fantastic four etc etc. I've seen it a couple of times now and really enjoyed it.

On the other hand "Run Fatboy Run" I thought was slow, boring, generally unfunny and I plan never to watch it again. It wasnt a bad film per se (it did have a couple of good bits), just definitely not a good one or one I'd ever purchase...

Never seen Hellboy but if I would prefer Hot Fuzz than Run fat boy run. Far more giggles.

Hot Fuzz was one of the biggest let-downs ever. So many people raved about it, but it was shte, I didn't laugh once.

I loved Hellboy though, the second one not so much, but it was still good.
