pass on one piece of advice to a 'new PHer having experience the environment for sometime; what would it be and why?
Mine would be a choice of the following:
1. Never mention any anecdotes of women, sex and the gravy train at once.
2. Never come to PHers with 'emotional' issues.
3. Always ensure that your spelling and grammar is correct.
4. Never try and outwit, someone here will always be cleverer than you and get one over.
Any more?
Edited to add:
5. Don't post pointless threads.

Whenever you are in a desperate situation and think that things cannot be any worse for you and need help.........
appeal to Pistonheads!
Then you will find that:-
Things can get worse (for you)
If you thought it was desperate before, you're in for a shock
You have definitely come to the wrong place for help
And that's if your spelling and grammar are correct!

Everything you ever say on here will still be traceable back to you long after you are dead. Remember that before you hit submit.
My post count is well on the way to 7k, fact is I must have written at least another 1000 or so that I have hit the submit button on for one reason or another.
