Was on hold to my bank the other day, the hold song was 'Raining men'. I wondered if they were investment bankers.

I think we could come up with a more ironic playlist for the bank or some other company smile

EdF have that pile of cr@p "It's not that easy being green" from their ads.
And don't get me started on the fking nerve they display, taking the words of Kermit the Frog and change their meaning. s.
Anyway, I was on hold beacuse I'd rung up to tell them I was changing to npower. So I win.

I've had "Circle of Life" by Sir Elton John, some crazy African & Arabian music, and just this morning I was on hold to what sounded like a really crappy n64 game.

Once heard some banging trance for some helpdesk. Can't remember who it was.

Mole Valley TVR used to have some recording of a GT race which was pretty cool.

I used to enjoy "The Power of Love" when calling the DeLorean Specialist (Gradys)when I had the DMC12.

Is it Michael Ward Associates that plays "View to a Kill?"

One of the hardware suppliers I used to deal with when I was in the IT game had 'Ring Ring Ring' by De La Soul.

"Sorry ya can't get through
Why don't you leave your name
And your number
And I'll get back to you" etc

How are you differentiating between hold music and any other music?
I.e.- Why isn't this thread entitled: "What's your favorite song?"

The only way hold music is ever remotely acceptable is if it contains coded instructions on how to locate and murder horribly without legal consequences the fktard responsible for implementing it.
