Sony lose their bottle

Sony have really lost their bottle and delayed the release of a game in case it offends muslims - because it has "offensive music" !!!!!

Bit silly but you have to bear in mind after the huge neative publicity of the sony game last year which used the interior of a Manc cathedral they wont want to take risks again.

Huge negative publicity? More likely they have done it deliberately to get everyone talking about it.

It's not them being PC, it's them getting free advertising on the news. Seems that it worked well enough the first time for it to be worth doing again.

More accurately, Sony delayed the release because it had been brought to their attention that a track on the background music contained two expressions which can be found in koran. There was no "offensive music" or language involved at all. Linky

Sony presumably are self censoring beacause they feel that they should not use phrases or expressions that appear in the aforementioned book.
