Driving again...yeah!
Discussion
Woo hoo!
After breaking my collar bone mountain biking in August and having surgery, I have finally been given the OK to drive again after nearly 3 months!
It's amazing just how much we rely on our cars, and post op having had a month on public transport I am just relishing the prospect of being able to drive again and not use public transport unless it's into London!
Funny thing was, I would call myself an "enthusiastic" driver...and after pulling the keys out of Mrs HD's hand and driving her 100bhp Audi A3 home from the quacks, it felt fast as fook! Seriously, I was grinning like a cheshire cat and enjoying a real speed buzz...but doing under the limit on a dual carriageway! Funny how your senses go to sleep when you have not used them for a while!
Anyway, pretty pointless post, just made up to be driving again, and better than that I'm even allowed out on my road bike too...I wonder what 40mph downhill will feel like on that!
