My gun slip zip broke on Saturday and is beyond repair.

In the market for a new one. I have seen this online:

http://www.manorhouseonline.com/product_details_6....

which seems a good price for a leather gun slip, but not sure how durable/easy to keep clean Nubuck is when compared to traditional leather slips?

Not looking to spend a fortune, but there is a lot of variance in quality. Any other links appreciated.

Thanks

Looks very nice, although i dont know how quickly the nubuck would look good for after its been trailed around the sporting stands- its a bit like suede so will need to be brushed if it gets dirty..

Thought about this (I'd use it for game shooting as well, so it would get even more abuse when compared to the clays). Looked a nice slip for price, but given what I spent on my last one, I don't really want to be replacing the new slip in a few years time because it has fallen apaet.

A different approach but we used to use Pelican cases (hard plastic ones used by the military) as they were the only thing that airlines couldn't break when travelling to international matches.

Hereford & Worcester. I live 2 miles away, so it is really convenient.

There are loads of Clay Grounds in my neck of the woods, so have shot at a few others as well.

Tend to shoot clays more close season, though I do try to get out every other weekend between September and Feb.
