Been out cycling alot today with my 5 1/2 year old. She is pretty good on a bike now and we just got her a new bike 20" wheels, mountain bike style.. anyway, saw some leaves piled up so I did a broadie ( Think that's what I used to call it - Sideways skid thing ) Little girl thought it was ace! clap

Not as funny as the second attemp thought.. dammit, I forgot how much road rash hurts! loser

I am sure the road is harder than it used to be!

Obviously my little girl has told everyone we've seen since! paperbag

+1

I cycle to and from uni every day. People probably think I'm a lunatic.
Although I have calmed down a bit recently after being shouted at by people (wasn't endangering anyone) quite a few times.

Same here - used to cycle into uni and after a few weeks there was a distinct layer of rubber on the path outside the house where I'd skid it in every day.

Got through a couple of tyres that year biggrin

About 10 years ago, some local kids were playing on their bikes outside the new build houses with raised ironworks in the road, doing little jumps and wheelies off them!
I got the Cape Wrath out the shed, and went out to do some mile long wheelies up and down the road, egging them on for a laugh. Then showed them how to ride backwards sitting on the handlebars, (ha, I can still do ti at 38!)

Went in for my tea, and the missus, called me to say these ids nearly got creamed by some car as they were trying to ride backwards!!
So I went out to wanr them not to do it on the road, and clear them off home.....!

Next might, doorbell rang, and they had "called" for me! My missus was killing herself laughing.

In the end I had to find where they lived and soke t their mums and dads and said they had been a nuisance round the place and were riding dangerously etc!

I felt bad but it was the only way I could get rid of them wobbling round my cars! ! ! !

When you show off, it's usually better if you don't fekc it up..

Hint, when you were a kid it was a lot easier to do things than now.....Like take impacts for example...
