Without lowering the tone of a Friday afternoon too much, my pride and joy was keyed last night. Just happened in a local resedential street. It was stomach churning going to work this morning and seeing that!

Anyway, has anyone got any advice for repair. Bodyshop I'm guessing. The scratch runs the length of the car and it fairly deep. Not a T-Cut out jobby for sure!

Thank you,

Mr Trophy

Sorry to hear this.

Give us an idea where you're from?

Feckers! Why? I really hate that. Had one of my previous cars keyed for no apparent reason - really, really, really annoying. Feel for you.

I'm from just south of Newcastle. The car was parked in a (not very nice) part of Newcastle. Makes you sick, it really does. Car was outside girlfriend's house. Don't want to leave my car there any more.

I know this is a strange question without seeing the damage but what ballpark figure am I looking at? Full length of car, fairly deep. As an idea of length, it's a 3 series coupe. (Not a fiesta as you might guess from my name).

One day someone's gonna catch a guy doing that to his car and he's gonna get the kicking of a lifetime, which he deserves. I can't understand the mentality of folk who do things like this.

Thank you,

Going on past experience you're looking at approx £200 for a bodyshop to repaint and colour match. If they are half decent the paint work will look exactly as it did before.

Some chimps will never learn to respect other people's property - hopefully they'll get their comeuppance in a painful and humiliating manner.

Thanks. I appriciate your advice. Will go and get a quote in the morning. Guess I will just have to put it down to experience of where not to park (even though I didn't really have any choice).

Hope it doesn't happen to anyone on here. It really is horrible. what type of a world are we living in?
