Foreign Language Courses?

[TDIPLC]

Finding myself in the position of needing to learn Russian ASAP I have been looking around for courses.

Has anyone tried any of the methods available, and if so can you please advise me your thoughts on them?

Thanks in advance

It depends on how you learn languages best (there are several methods), but I gather the Rosetta Stone courses are good.

Plenty of ads in newsagents windows in West London posted by Eastern European ladies (they all speak Russian).

Just call them up and explain that 'you only want to talk' and you'll be a cunning linguist in no time.
