Anyone else had a blinder of a day?

The weekend is nearly upon us, i've been to the pub and managed to negotiate 3 sales whilst being half cut, i'm looking at a decent pay pack next month, its been a very good day.

Yep, got to get up at 5.30am, go to work for 6.30am, drive the company van half way round lincolnshire, then go and work with loud mouthed know it all fat talentless tarts.! But i did get to finish at 1.45pm, got home for 2.15pm, had food, got lots of cuddles from OH, now im gonna have me a beer!!

not bad, spent 4 hours putting big letters on windows at a bridgend dealership. then went home and took my alternator out. can't complain really.

Sounds like payment for having to deal with that st so early wish i was home at 2:15 though!!

I'll join in with this, jsut put £16K on the board (£2K of wich will see its way into my sky-rocket) I don't finish till 6 which is annoying but I'll certainly be 'aving it large later

Had to go home at lunchtime so that I could give my wife her car back, then return to work in the Griff. She was VERY grateful

I have mostly been bored stless, so no, not had an amazing day!

Had all you can eat Chinese for lunch though, which was pretty alright, managed 2 servings plus ice cream, every cloud an' all that...

Well, no i am not a downmarket stringfellow, i had to drive the company van because the driver was off, and the fat talentless tarts all work at the same company, they just have big mouths, and cant get anything right! As to cuddles, she has a major chest infection, so cuddles is all im going to get at the moment, horizontal dips, are, im afraid, out until she gets better! p.s. and yes, i have tried rubbing vicks in to her chest, it didnt help

I've been looking at the job market for the last few weeks with a view to going contract (IT), but considered things to be subdued, not much response to applications, etc.

Then today the phone rang off the hook with recruiters, I had a very positive phone interview this morning, I'm now up for two decent contract interviews next week and also have a near offer for a perm job offering a 50% rise on my current salary.

I can hear the beers inside the fridge, calling my name...
