Get him to buy you a new carpet.

In my experience, new carpet (or furniture re-positioning!). Sorry.

But if you do find another way - please share!

Has to be considered. Someone chunders red wine on my light coloured carpet and I'd want this.

Go back in time and pour white wine and salt over it before it dries.

I spilled some red wine on my beige carpet recently and after much scouring on the internet the thing that got rid of the stain was some shampoo that had a small amount of peroxide in there.

This one in fact LINK

Could not believe that it worked, but it did. Use it at your own risk though.

Treat as a little game, just rearrange the furniture to cover all the stains!

I use the same trick with all those stupid cushions that the mrs puts on the bed getmecoat

I used MrMuscle carpet cleaner on some really old red wine stains at my Ex's, he'd just moved the sofa over to cover them hehe

Got them out a treat biggrin

This happened to my mate, he puked all over my beige carpet after having an indian and a gut full of beer, he couldn't get the stains out so I had to take it all up and throw it away, laid a wooden floor in the end. Got my own back though by saving a bit and giving it to him during my best mans speech at his wedding biggrin
