I dispatched the butler and 2 footman to see if they could bag any bargains on our behalf. Their annual trianing in the Harrods sale gave theman excellent "elbows out" attitude to the other shopeers.

Chin chin.

Yeah on second thoughts I should have phrased that differently.. how is it stealing if you're taking something out of someones trolley that they've not paid for?

..... and people wonder why there is vitriol directed at the "Huge TV bought on credit" gang.

Hateful swine, the lot of them.

That was the reason for the intolerable traffic on the M6 this morning - it was tailed back to cause delays on the M6 northbound at the M6 toll junction, so I had queue with the proles wink

All that for a crappy end of line sat nav or some other 13amp plugin gee-gaw rolleyes

Over here in the US Ikea had a "small" sale at the weekend on selected items. They sold a years worth of stock in just under 30 minutes and caused so much chaos (at one store someone threatened staff and customers with a gun if they didn't get the discounted storage containers they wanted!) that Ikea are considering cancelling future sales events.
