I am currently listing to Glen Campbell's latest song (which i like) on Smooth radio (which i've started to listen to, alot) whist thinking about how i can redecorate the front room and posting on here.
Also I've been invited to a 3 day stag for my mate and although the one night is ok, i can't believe that i would enjoy 3 days of drinking and pub crawling.

Is this a sign of getting old?

I despair at the youth of today, your not the only one like it I know, loads of 25-27 year olds seem to go on about being 'old'. What is the matter with you lot? Old as 27? FFS. rolleyes

Yes. Although in your case, as it was for me, the onset of grumpy old bdom is a bit premature. Enjoy it.

Glen Campbell's 'Wichita Linesman' is wonderful song, if you have not already heard it.

Well 2 years back i was out clubbing/drinking at every chance i had, staying up late and getting up early and not feeling too bad for it. Now however i need to be in bed by about 10pm at the latest to be up for 5:30am, drinking is only for weekends and only lightly. And i've not been clubbing for a long time.

Some people enjoy 3 day drinkathons. I, like the OP, woudln't. Being able to admit this, and not pretend that you do enjoy it, is not a sign of being old, just of growing up. You don't stop growing up at 18 a by any means.

You're not old until you've properly switched to Radio 4.

I don't know if i'm boring or old but i would much rather have a nice night in with my girlfriend, cooking a nice meal, curled up on the sofa with a bottle of red watching tv or a film. Than be out with the lads spending £100's getting absolutely lashed.

I'm only...

You are both! The OP is on his way and should do something about it sharpish!!

To be fair, everyone goes through the ghey stage when they would rather do fk all with the Mrs than have a good time with their mates but you only live once, you can't take the money with you etc etc

Live it up, go out get hammered, do a few stupid things, as long as your on form for work in the week and you can pay the bills then you can afford to live a little.

Yours
