Have you spent the Summer months grafting at home? What have you done.

Here's the back of my house and although the deck & windows wern't exactly my doing quite alot of graft went into making it look the way it does now.

The windows and paint job are bob-on dude.

The decking on the other hand I couldn't care for at all (personal taste and all that).

Nice job, this summer i've fitted an additional bathroom upstairs, a walk-in wardrobe, had the master bedroom replastered & then we decorated it, relaid the patio & put a cover over it.

Now i'm due a rest.

I wouldn't look right the same colour as the house, in my opinion.

As far as the deck is concerned that was the only option, under there is alot of hardcore, however, if I wanted to make a concrete/paving slab type patio I would have need another 8 tons of hardcore and ALOT more money.

Behind where the picture is being taken is a valley, the deck overlooks it & it gets sun all day. smile
