Gas and Electric up 30%

I got a letter through the post yesterday saying our Gas and Electric was going to go up 30%! I know things are getting expenive but christ on a bike that is mental. Is it really worth shopping round to get a new provider? Are they really any cheaper? I remember Eon promised lower prices to us and then 6 weeks later they boosted their prices through the roof. Hmph.

I got that letter ages ago, I think pretty much all the energy companies hiked their prices around about the same time.

And they blamed it all on the price of oil...now oil is very much down in price will gas and leccy follow? Answers on a postcard please....
