The moon tonight

Is it me....or does the moon seem to be very bright tonight. Almost like daylight!

It's a South East thing - the Northerners can't afford a bright moon, they'd only cover it in coal dust and generally smeg it up, or steal it and cover it in cheap bling.

However, you are entirely correct that in the Home Counties the moon is indeed extremely bright - I just went outside to check....and now all of this long black hair is growing from the back of my hands. Hmmm. Grrrrrr. Slobber.

I took the dogs out at sunset, it got darker and then got brighter again with the light from the other direction, then I went in and had my dinner - must go and look again before bedtime.
