.....and here is the reason why I ask.

This morning I woke up a bit late for work, the usual Monday morning banter of being in a warm bed, and knowing the m6 was going to be a car park. Whilst I eventually got ready I could hear our cat outside the bedroom door making a plaintive " I want breakfast/attention/to generally get in your way" noise, I legged it downstairs (ignoring the cat) and necked a coffee and went to go out the front door. As I went to do so, the little fecker made a break for freedom which was blocked by my leg in a half kung fu/moris dancing twisting of limbs effort, and off I go to work with the cat giving me evil looks from the staircase where she has retreated...........
Get home from work at half five and all is good, the missus is on the way home from London, and we are going out for a bottle of wine so I go upstairs to get changed. I go to the bed to put my phone on charge, and slap bang in the middle of "my side" of the bed is the biggest cat turd I have ever seen!
I'm not joking, this turd was the biggest walnut whip I have ever seen. Better than one of mine after a night out on the tiles, it was actually bigger than the cats head! For a cat to have crimped off a length the size of this it must have taken best part of an hour!
So I call SWMBO, who laughs, as do I, but she then steadfastly refuses to draw any parallel between this mornings clearly angered and frustrated cat, and the miraculous appearance of a 99 of which Walls would have been proud!
Now I'm aware this is a lengthy post, and for those of you that have stuck with it, thanks. The bone of contention in our house is that having housed/fed/paid vet bills for the little fecker, is it a leap of cognition to think that she knew what she was doing (having never ever had an accident in the house), and that this is the time for battle lines to be drawn?
Secondarily, would it make it alright for me to come home from a night on the beers, take the lid off of her little kitty house/litter tray I bought her, and curl one off in there before making my way to bed (with the bedroom door closed) for a fitful nights sleep?

Thanks all

Finkers

OMG! i havent laughed so much for ages!!!!rofl Ahem, now i have that out of my system, yes cats do know what they are doing, they are very intelligent creatures, who, want their own way and when they dont get it......its turd on bed time! Years ago, a mate of mine had a kitten, and said mates dad was basically giving it grief, so, kitten curls a HUGE one into fathers shoe. took them 3 days to find it, by which time, it was high to say the least!

I don't doubt for a second that it knew what it was doing.
Not sure about your 'revenge', mind. It isn't like the cat is going to clean it up afterwards.

I am of the opinion that "our little girl" knew exactly what was what, and that she probably sat in the office window, watched me drive off up the road, and got out the kitty times before sitting down to curl one out.........
It was the way in which it was positioned about a foot down from the pillow, clearly waiting to catch me unawares when I slump onto the bed after a day at work, like some sort of dirty protest!

War I tell ee!

ETA: She has food, she has fuss, she even has the spare bedroom and a double bed for her own bedroom! Displaced asylum seekers would sell their nan for the life "our little girl" has!

I believe the cat may have had a turtles head, hence the attention seeking, and the resulting present left for you to discover...

But then cats are evil, so it was probably in spite laugh

How do you know the Cat did it? Maybe the OH wanted to remind you what the 'tradesman's entrance' is for. Have you been pestering her to let you give her an OXO Towering?

Well, I'm inclined to believe her side of the story rather than yours. Consider yourself convicted.

We will see if she is so complacent when confronted by a turd the size of one of the stars of big cat diary!
