guys , how often do you need to sharpen the chains ?
I am not getting more than a couple of hours before it starts struggling, or is it my technique ?
I sharpen the chain every time I use it (I use it fairly intensively for about 3 hours usually). It is really obvious the amount of effort needed to cut with a blunt blade compared to a just sharpened one. Keeping an eye on your chain oil is my biggest tip. So many people just tend to leave it. I am not getting more than a couple of hours before it starts struggling, or is it my technique ?

Might prove a bit difficult to clip to my harness and drag up a tree but I'd give it a go. Gassing Station | The Pie & Piston Archive | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
