Yea, you sent me a load of energy bulbs through the post, telling me I was saving the planet, I even had to go trapesing off in my gas guzzler to pick them up as they wouldn't fit through the letter box.

So BG you hoodwinked me into saving the planet now I've got fecking radiation burns which would do the solar Sun proud!

I hope you are happy with yourselves!!!! Grrrr and meh!!!

How many people spend more than an hour huddled round there lights every day!

Just another case of scaremongering to keep the masses paralysed with fear. It's all a conspiracy!

I got a box too. I used one bulb (because I didn't have a spare gas-guzzler bulb) and it lasted all of a week. Great saving of energy and materials there then.

Once everyone has been hoodwinked into using these crap lights that emit radiation err i mean planet saving lights. The government will probably introduce a new radiation tax.

I switched to them in my house some time back, the savings on my electric bill is noticeable.

I got mine the same week the last umpteen-percent price hike came in.

The word "irony" didn't really go far enough for me.

The trick with energy saving light bulbs is not to get the cheapo ones. I have used Philips branded ones for 10+ years now and have never had one stop working yet. The light is not quite as nice from an incandescent but the encapsulated ones are not bad at all.

The unbranded dodgester ones are an utterly false economy.

am more annoyed that BG sent me the free bulbs followed by my gas bill that includes a £14 charge for calling me up to remind me to pay the bill! furious

they're getting both barrels later, my gas usage was only £29 for the quarter FFS!
