Funny walking into work this morning and got the smell of a Jubbly - they were like big triangle ice pops. Reminded me of when I was young.

What smell's remind you of your childhood, good or bad?

Whenever i smell the perfume 'Poison' it takes me straight back to being 6 years old in year 2 of primary school, Mrs Purnell who was my teacher used to wear it.

Meccano.

Nothing smells like a tub of Meccano and as soon as I smell it it's like I'm 6 again.

Jeyes Fluid

I'm sure the cleaners at the school used to drink the bloody stuff!

Oh and my Mums roast dinners, christ she used to create some smoke on a Sunday, if you dared go in the kitchen you needed a damp towel over your head just so you could breathe but by god they were tasty.

The smell of sheep. It's a sort of oily musty smell. And the smell of hay that's just been cut.

Coaltar soap...used it in school. Horrible pink looking stuff that always looked dirtier than your hands actually were.

The smell of that horrible rubber type floor that you get in gym halls.

Anais Anais perfume worn by my Nan.

Brocolli - hate the stuff, mum made it every night, and all 6 of us hated it, if you were last into the kitchen to get your dinner everyone else had piled thier brocolli onto your plate laugh

Baking.

Went to a school reunion some 20yrs after leaving, had a tour round, walked into one of the cookery rooms and we were all instantly back in the 5th year.
