What sort of bike?
Motorbike: A lot of companies are doing 0% finance at the moment on selected models.
Pushbike: Are you an employee, is the cycling to work scheme an option?
i know about the 0% finance but for a 125 for a few months i dont really want to spend £2800 on a bike that i will sell in a few months and still have to pay finance. wereas i spend a grand and then dont have to pay the finance (ok i have to pay the loan but thats different)Motorbike: A lot of companies are doing 0% finance at the moment on selected models.

when i sell the bike i can just pay it off plus a bit of, um,,, wats it called,,, fines for not taking a year to pay.

Why do you need to get finance/loan? there are planty bikes around that'll cost you one or two months loan payments
I prefered your unedited post. Edited by WestYorkie on Sunday 5th October 02:21

as for why i need a loan, i start work on sunday, and need the bike to get to the job lol. so without the bike i have no job so no point in getting a loan.
a viscious circle.
(not my acc btw before you say you cant get one without a job, will be my dads then i pay him back)

Only just done CBT, you say?
Right, don't take out a loan to buy a fancy 'sports' 125. They're no faster than a 500 quid Honda CG125....
Buy a cheap Honda CG125 or Suzuki GS125 for now - once you've done DAS get some insurance quotes before deciding on what to buy - I think you may be in for a bit of a surprise at just how bloody expensive it can be to insure a sportsbike as a newly qualified rider.
Remember, most 400cc sportsbikes are getting old and worn out these days, so you may well be better buying a much newer Honda Hornet or similar.

Managed to find a more sensible quote of £700, but I think I'll wait till Jan and buy a older CBR.

tter from PH or the Bay. A 15 year old 125 is going to cost you less than £500 and you won't be arsed if you bin it.
