Anyone else had this? You have a really good friend, who you trust like a brother, and it transpires that there were things going on behnd your back. I still like the guy, and really feel for him, but I'm just gutted and disappointed. It could easily cause me to not want close friends any more but that would be wrong.

...Tell us more?

"Done things behind your back"

What? Your girlfriend, your dog, went to the pub without you? What?

We can't gauge severity based on what you've told us.

Yes I hate this.

I can't trust any of the people I am so called "freinds" with. Tehey are all incapable of keeping promises, it pisses me off. So much so I am going to live in a room on my own.

Friends can only remain so while there is respect and trust.

Once either of these has disappeared, it's very hard to maintain the friendship.

Sorry to hear that, Steve. Few of us always live up to expectations.

Yup - nothing surer that most people will let you down at some point. And it's not always intentioned.

Everyone does, no-one is perfect, but we (the royal we) tend to have high expectations, put people on pedestals and then get disapointed.

T'would be a better place if we just took people as we find them.

its a lifestyle choice, least i have my trusty companion Snowie. Although if he pisses on the carpet again he may not make the next adventure.

Balls to that Shrubbery!

Having friends is like having a partner. 99% of the time they make your life complete. 1% of the time they break your heart.
