Basically his daughter gets kidnapped to be used as a prostitute and he is some kind of ex special agent type guy and has to go find her. What makes it a good film is that its not all explosions and gun fights, he plays a very clever character (kinda like house but not a doctor) and snaps lots of peoples arms and necks in cool ways

Not exactly the most believable of films I've ever seen, but a full-on ninety minutes of action which simply flew by. Most enjoyable!
yes.Acting was s
te and a ridiculous plot to boot, but it was good fun. Despatched the Albanians a bit too quickly though.
Also thought it was quite funny how having left the "safety and tranquility" of LA, the girl landed in Paris, which was jammed packed with evil drug dealing prostitute running murdering bad guys.
Paris is much much nicer than that f
king dump.Surprised that Luc Besson wrote this but pretty enjoyable overall.
Amazing also haw Maggie Grace from Lost was quite convincing as a 17 year old even though she is 25.

Its an enjoyable film. A complete rip off of the Bourne school of film making, but hey what isn't these days? Even the latest Bond films have taken 'inspiration'.
As much as I like Liam Neeson as an actor I do find it hard to take him seriously. He's great in tongue in cheek roles like Darkman, but I think he was a bit mis-cast in this role.
