It does seem a bit silly really. Don't mess with stuff you don't understand.

SHe's a mentalist obviously. Took on over a million in debt and didn't even know what she'd spent the money on. Totally freakin' MAD!

Did they actually say how much he paid? They said the guide price was 65k, and once he walked into the house, it was said he had withdrawn 100k out of his house.

Excellent. Soon to be bankrupt and 7 flats soon to be up at auction for 400k!

I liked the Indian guy who decided to buy a house and do it up because he saw so many people on telly making money on those development programmes - the media has SO much to answer for.

As for that woman, what about her poor ex-husband. They raise kids together then split up, she's fked him over and kept the family home, probably left him in a tiny flat, and then she totally fks it up by over borrowing against it - honestly!

You know her ex is the one who is shafted here.
But she will be fine, as long as he is alive and working...

I'm on C4+1 now - am I going to be shouting at the telly in a while?

And even if she had made a mint she'd have carried on claiming CSA benefits from him.

I've no problem with the "ooh look, we might get on telly!!!" lot... to a point. But I can't help but expect legions of sad, delusional tits who are going to throw bad money after bad at some guaranteed, never to be repeated, I'm cutting my own throat, Beanie dream.

The brains must run in the family. Her son said he wouldn't have spent the cash on houses, but on shares, "...because when they go down, it is just a number. Property is tangible"

The clever money has long since moved on. These people buying flats in Manchester weren't investors, they were customers buying a product that someone had seen a market for. Mug punters buying fools gold. £180,000-£270,000 for a two bed flat with a huge service charge and a leasehold tenancy. If I recall correctly Phil and Kirsty were seen showing some of their show's victims around that very block.

Just like the woman about to lose her house, they thought they could earn a living by doing the sum total of fk all apart from turning up at the bank to realise a bit of cash from their "property portfolio" every now and then. The little people who go to work can pay. Now these bds will find out about work with debts like that following them to the grave.

I feel no sympathy, none. I do however respect those that had the forsight to give these buy-to-let investors the rope to hang themselves with.
