Right here is my story.

In oct 06 i brought a phillips 50PF7521D/10.

Which is a black 50inch 1920-1080p HD plasma.

In may this year i turned it on like normal and there was a delay before the picture come on.
The next day was about 2 mins from first switch on to having a full screen.
Every day was taking a bit longer, After the fourth day it took 30 mins for the screen to come on, Now once it was on it was running perfect no problems.
We are trying to start a catering business so have only just had a engineer from comet who we brought it from tell us it's somthing to do with the power core, or core somthing and gave us a rough price of £400-500 for a new one.
Now with trying to start our business and some debt we don't have that sort of money spare.
We could do with a little bit to help get the things we need.

So if anyone out there who knows some one or can work on plasma fancy making a offer it.
I'm not looking for silly money any offer will be very much considered.
At this time we just need some money and just can't even justify spending money on a fking tv, Well thats what the wife is saying to

I can take pictures or any one can pop round and see it.
It has been on our wall and looked after with a run in dvd when it was new and all the right stuff to clean the screen.

I have proof of purchase showing we paid £2,316 it's not on hp or credit.
I know a brand new one at tesco's with the same spec is £1399
As i say any offer will be considered.
Some one must be able to fix it cheap and get a bargain.

Take it back to the shop... It may have a year warranty, but a TV should be fit for more than just under 2 years use... Take your consumer rights thingy with you.

I stopped reading just at that point, where you used the wrong word for describing the action of purchasing goods. My least favourite spelling mistake, ever.

We had a Philips plasma not sure which model we had around 5 years now cost 3k when new at the time! And the switch has broken twice on ours at a cost of 700 pounds a go although we ended up threatening court etc... so did not pay (this was a lot harder and longer than it seemed and my dad spent a long time on the phone contacting Philips seeking legal advice before we got out money back). Anyway apparently a lot of people do not go near Philips TVs to fix and the only way to get them done it to contact Philips themselves and get ripped off the moral is do not buy Philips!

Try posting in the right forum.

You might also make a little more effort to post in correct English.

You're pissy because you joined a car forum solely to ask someone to take a knackered, old Plasma screen off your hands, and you didn't get an enthusiastic response? Interesting scratchchin

He doesn't have any. It's too expensive.
