A positive thread - good stuff that may happen

Understandably, people are gloomy at the moment.
The Gov are useless f
kers, the economy is buggered and we can't easily get rid of the idiots in charge.
Anyhow, on the upside, what could happen?
How about:
Early general election.
Tories win in a landslide.
Cameron shows his true colours and his more Tory than he cared to admit when in opposition.
The economy slowed down to the extent that inflation is less of a problem, so Cameron slashes taxes, fires 30% of non-job civil servants, stock markets pick up and everything looks better.
Immigration is slashed, Teachers are told to get back to basics.
Police are left to get on with nicking people. A full overhaul of the criminal justice system is instigated.
The EU is told in no uncertain terms to stop taking the piss and cut its budget by 30%.
The taxes on fuel are cut. The local authorities are reduced in staff levels so that they have to focus on emptying the bins, running state schools and making things work. Everything else is scrapped.
Government rediscovers the basic principle that it is meant to serve us and make the country work, defaulting to the basic position of leaving people alone to get on with it with as little interference as possible.
Summer 2010 is even a hot one, with lovely weather.
So, what are the odds of all this then?

You seem to have left them out of your plan.
Not so clever now, huh?

I think you'll find that he is just as much of a t0sser as we already think he is. The garbage he peddles will become the party manifesto and, after 12 years of waiting for a return to power, I'm sure the Tories wouldn't be so stupid (like Mr B.Liar) to do the complete opposite of their manifesto commitments. So there's nothing to look forward to. One useless bunch is going to be replaced by another useless bunch.

Oh come on , fella, I'm trying to be optimistic...
Deep, deep down, maybe Cameron is a proper Conservative?
If he is, I can understand why he might be keeping it hidden. After all, he does'nt want to scare off the Oiks from voting for him
Let's be optimistic !
How about REALISTIC?Deep, deep down, maybe Cameron is a proper Conservative?

I know you know the truth - you start with "deep, deep down" and then tag on the killer "maybe".
Cameron is just another 'say whatever it takes' plum - it'll be a return to soundbite politics and Blairism with him at the reigns.

Different sides of the same coin chap. Camron is to the Conservatives what Tony Blair was to Labour, the party behind the media image has in the case of the Conservatives not changed, in the same way that behind the spin people were just electing the same old Labour socialists to do what they always do, wreck the economy. Deep, deep down, maybe Cameron is a proper Conservative?
