I caught a bit of a programme last night about kids being taken to live with strict parents. Anyone else see it? Search throws up nothing. The one I saw was about a girl and a boy from England who go to somewhere in the US and live with a chap and his family.

Now, I used to be a teenager and could be a tt at times, but this boy got right up my nose. He was so utterly apathetic in his woe-is-me gayness - the worst of the worst kind of OTT, wrist on forehead luvvie behaviour. I think he must have had the Big See and Do Rainbow Book and cut out all the doll figures with tabs on and stuck them onto his life.0

Oh he soooo needed a slap about the 'st' he got on his shoe while at the homeless shelter.

The girl seemed a bit selfish but not half of what Ross was.

Anyway, if no one else saw it, I'll climb back down from my soap box now...

Apart from the Jesus stuff, the chap they stayed with sounded a solid bloke.

I saw something on BBC 3 (iirc, deffo BBC) a few weeks back about two teenagers trying to pass their driving test. The boy on that wound me up no end. You could just tell how frustrated and disappointed the father was that his son was a sulky little ste. The girl was a chopsy sort as well.

Not long ago that people this age were expected to be out in the world getting on in jobs, I couldn't imagine that boy being asked to do something and complying cheerily. I certainly wouldn't let him answer the phones in my company, I wouldn't even want the moping silly haired sod in my office.

Also the prize for passing was a T reg 5 door corsa B, worth maybe £600-800. I thought this was a bit of a poor show for a BBC prog on at around 9pm.
