Friday morning kitchen wall painting thread..
Discussion
is here! Never mind short selling, credit crunching, can't get a mortgage type threads, this is the one you've all been waiting for
The time has come for me to paint my kitchen wall, it is currently not so resplendant in 'new build' magnolia and I fancy a change, not to mention I'm sick of the meerest scuff causing lovely looking marks all over it.
What is the quickest and easiest way to paint a wall? I'm guessing a roller and decent quality paint but are there any other tips and tricks any of you good people could suggest?
thanks!
Steve

Don't use a roller. They flick paint everywhere (though I still prefer them to a brush).
Get some paint pads http://www.wickes.co.uk/Paint-Rollers+Pads/Paint-P...
Oh, and don't mess around cutting in round light switches and power points, undo them.
