I'm all for investigative reporting, but is there any chance that we could have some balanced reporting.

my piss is boiling at the moment.

Any chance of an outline for those who can't watch the program?

I'm watching. They look like they're desperately digging for dirt. I hope he gets found out and get's in a world of s**t.

Whilst i don't agree with some of the methods, they are trying to prepare them for war FFS!!

BBC send undercover reporter to Army recruitment and training trying to find bullying and physical punishment.

BBC send bloke who hates the army, hates discipline and hates physical training to find out if he will find stuff in the army he wont like.

Its not quite that bad, but you get the idea.

basically he's making a big deal of recruits being cheeky, or pissing around and then wondering why the instructors are getting pissed off with him. In the first instance of "illegal use of physical force" the recruit smacked the instructor in the face and then got smacked back

now he's complaining that the heating doesn't work sometimes- SO WHAT! it won't kill you!

Army is probably a good place to look. People who are prepared to kill others in war situations, might not always have all the necessary social skills to be nice to each other all the time.

The forces are having a massive clampdown on bullying at the moment. Equality and Diversity training is the latest hot topic.

I've met some good military instructors and some bad ones. The latter were those who resorted to screaming and violence.

F*ckwits.

I'm an instructor. You need a certain dehgree of respect and discipline, but physical and sexual abuse cannot be tolerated. There are other ways to punish people, witthin the boundaries of 'building character'.

Agreed.

The moment they resort to this behaviour they are admitting defeat. They do it to cover their own inadequacies. Sure, there are bad students so filter them out and bin them. No need to resort to this sort of nonsense.

now there's recruit saying he's had hi little finger broken- but it's bks though as you just don't get the problems he is describing from a recent broken little finger!

they also keep saying that complaints are being dealt with by the commanding officer BEFORE the BBC made the report.

even more interesting he's complaining because one of the training staff is talking about shooting people and the reporter doesn't like it!

Now here's an idea. Put the naive leftie BBC journos into the Army, and let the Army run the BBC.
