Last night in a pub, all lit up with fairy lights. Bit early I thought.

I think this year I'm going to deliberately boycott anyone that advertises Christmas in fking October.

I'm going to spread the "Christmas Love" (i.e. £££££) to the little guys this year (Local Farm Shop, Local Pub, Family businesses, etc, etc) as I get the feeling they are going to need it more.

And at least they don't advertise fking Christmas in the fking autumn!

Argos and Woolies take note.

There should be a total ban on anything to with Christmas until 1st December.

It gets worse. I went to the post office two weeks ago to the Bureau de Change and they were selling Christmas cards.

Now I know the Post Office sell them earlier so people can send them to relatives in far-flung places in time for Christmas Day but this is taking the piss surely?

That early?

It's going to be a poor one this year.

Good job I've got a tree that lasts forever and is made from fibre optics. Bit of a false economy really having to buy a new one each year, think of all that cider you could have instead.

I am screwed.

Recently had a complete makeover downstairs - new floor, furniture, suite etc.

Realised soon after that I have now have nowhere to put the Christmas tree this year.

Pub in Exmouth on the seafront had one in 2 weeks ago. All right, it was advertising their Christmas menu, but it was a cold and wet day, and it was scarily believable that old Saint Nick was going to slide down my chimney at any moment.

I have just booked in for my first of the Christmas craft fairs (it's in November), and yesterday I added the Christmas decorations I make to my online shop.
