This thread may be subjected to some ridicule, but I really like watching Smallville, as some like 24.

Joined a DVD club, just to catch up on every episode I missed over the years and was watching series 5, Clark gets shot by a cyber criminal who wants to wipe smallville off the map and get rid of every meteor infected super-being out there, after he broke into a US Army base with a secret Silo, except Chloe of course, who he has a crush on... yikes

Anyway, when Clark`s heart monitor flatlines, Lana starts bawling and the look on Mrs Kent face as she walks out the door, was soul destroying.

And in true cave man stylee, I wiped away my solitary tear in disgust with the little voice in my head telling me to "pull yoself together fool".

Anyone remember Clarks first actual girlfriend, Aliscia? The one who could transport herself from place to place.
Im not into Blondes, but lawd have mercy, she was stunningly beautiful.
When Clark found her hanged in the barn, the pain in his voice, I couldnt help it, the water works started....

I can tell this to a bunch of strangers, but admit it to my OH, NEVER!smile

I heard Lex turns to the dark side in the later series...so no spoilers!!

Can happen to anyone. I almost started crying during Lion King. Thankfully, Lady B.J.W had the foresight to see what was happening and quickly prevented my descent into irreperable gayness with a swift blow job.

Serious question.
I watched Smallville once or twice cos the GF likes it (honest).
Am I right in saying it bears no resemblence to the Superman Films?
For one, Clark was never friends with Lex when they were young....
Sorry if I'm being gay.

I dont recall the comics or the chris reeve episodes every touching on their childhood in any great detail, but it does actually relate to the movies, focussing more on how they became foes.

Sorry, I didnt mean when they were kids as such, but I dont recall them being friends at all in the films? Havent seen them for years so may be wrong, but I thought Clark turned up in Town, and battled Lex right away?
