Like the bit about "A new drive by ministers to target heavy drinking"
Most of them are old sloshed up blokes anyway on free lunches and dont end up paying for there 9 bottles of wine a week.

Right, I'm off to Aldi for another crate of rose.

I fit into a few, social - I like a drink with mates to catch up, far better way than Facebook. Stress - I like a glass of red to destress every now and again, im not depressed so don't fit into that category.

This research probably cost the tax payer thousands of pounds!.

I am a drinker.

I am 18, I drink responsibly and when I overdo it I am a happy drunk.

I am not someone that has any time for this ball-achingly tedious and rotten government to label, pidgeon-hole and then guilt trip into changing my behaviour.

I really wish this government (and associated cronies) would just all fk off and develop a rapid, sudden and very terminal case of death.

And that would certainly merit a celebratory drinky-poo.

I looked again and cant see the giggle and fart catagory.

What a load of patronising nanny-state cock!

So, as far as they're concerned, there is no category for simply enjoying the drink?

So if I have a very short, straight measure from a treasured bottle of single malt,, or I dust off a particularly fine bottle of red from the cellar (this is theoretical - my cellar prices at aout £5 per bottle!) to enjoy the flavour and aroma, then I have a drink problem? censoreds!

Yeah, but 50+ units a week? Glad I don't have to pay your distillery store bill...

I agree 100%. What about folk like me who enjoy a couple of glasses of good quality wine with a nicely prepared meal because of the enjoyable experience that it provides? Nothing to do with escaping from problems, de-stressing or peer pressure - Just pure enjoyment in sensible moderation. Is the government obsessed with identifying problems in everything? Of course it is, because then they can invent yet another tax that will, supposedly, fix it!

Well I've come clean about my wine cellar being stocked with £4.99 plonk, so I might as well come clean about the 'single malt' too. It's just stuff we make at home in an old central heating tank, and drink out of jam jars. silly
