We've all said it will happen, people in the business say it will happen, now these guys say it will happen:

Will the government take any notice? Or will they just keep farting about, listening to the ecomentalists while we run out of electricity and slowly crawl back towards the stoneage with the added bonus of ever increasing taxation?

As they said last night: 'Climate change must come second to energy security'.

Maybe they're smelling the coffee after all. About bloody time. And then 'climate change' and all the silly targets, tariffs and taxes that have been so conveniently strapped to it will fade out of fashion.

Not as long as they are making money, remember how insurance premiums went up in the 80's after massive amounts of car thefts - did they come back down in line with less thefts? Not really. What about petrol - it goes from 140 to 141dpb and they increase prices at the pump; it goes down from $140 to $90 and do prices come down in line with that? Nope.

'Green' taxes are here to stay, we've been able to pay them, so they know we can afford it, so they'll keep making us pay them. Like coffee for £2.85.
