Comedy DVD'S

[skinner05]

Any recommendations for either comedy stand up, tv shows or films to buy? Got a few long days ahead where a few dvd's could help to pass the time. Already bought Omid Djalili's stand up show so just need a few more! Seen all of lee evans dvd's so no point in suggesting any of his stuff.

cheers

Some swear by Jeff Dunham. Personally I find his 'Achmed' character quite annoying after the first 15 seconds...

Patronising dick of the highest order IMHO.

I vote for Al Murray stand up. Infinately better than his Sat night average show.

I'd also suggest Teachers. Reaaly funny and should be quite cheap to buy as it's been out for a few years now.

In no particular order, other than the order I think of them in:

The Day Today
This is Spinal Tap
Withnail and I
Dodgeball/Talledega Nights/Starsky and Hutch/Zoolander/Anchorman - they're all the same really
Napoleon Dynamite
Rushmore
Extras
The Office
Reeves and Mortimer (can't remember which series - but the one with Vic as Lloyd Grossman still scares the cr@p out of me)
Big Train
Peter Kay Live
PheonixNights
That Peter Kay Thing
Human Remains
Ricky Gervais Live (Politics or Animals)
Will & Grace (That was a test to make sure you're still reading)
