So, there I was, "making progress" along the A43 this morning - returning from Oxford to Northampton - when one of these flew overhead:



I recognised it as a Dakota and then a long-forgotten thought popped into my head. Dakota Dan.

A Google search proved fruitless, but I'm convinced that Dan was a character in a "Commando" type comic.

Anyone else remember Dakota Dan?
