Conservatory purchase.

We're considering a conservatory and have Britelite in mind, has anyone used them and I'd like to know if any one has any negative comments.

Who else would you recommend?

We had a 4m x 5m conservatory put up by a private builder in 2005 for about £12,000. I can get you his number if you're interested.

This is a P shape one to replace an existing 6 year old one that is not structurally sound (roof bowing in and pushing sides out). It's approx 8.5 x 4 x 5.5 metres in size.

We'll have all the plastered walls and concrete floor and electrics in place.

The build will be for new frame and glazing only.

We have been quoted between £8k from a local company to about £17k from a national one.

Does this sound about right?

Have you been quoted for plastic frames or aluminium? BIG DIFFERENCE.

There wasn't much difference in price between aluminium and UPVC with Britelite.
