So I just got back from my lunch break at McDonalds. As im sitting there I notice people are looking over my head, alot of people. I turn around and BAM, right near me is a rather large woman with her gigantic knocker hanging out, aerola and all, prepping it for the kid.

That was wierd. I know it is a natural thing, but I dont think it should be allowed in public dining establishments, and frankly, the women who do this must be some sort of twisted version of exhibitionist.

Nothing wrong with it at all.... in fact breast feeding in public is a good way of identifying people with 'issues' hehe

I think you need to sit down and think about what you've just written.

So what if a mother wants to feed her baby? It's entirely natural. Granted, most women would seek some degree of privacy but that's not always a luxury that's available to them. What do you suggest she does? Starve the baby?

So would you prefer to hear a baby scream and scream while you are trying to eat! Most women do it so people don't notice anyway, unless they are exhibitionist!!!! Cows, sheep and most animals do it! It is what nature produced them for so why are you being so timid about it?????? I bet you couldn't even spend 5 mins in a room with a baby screaming could you! And mothers are intitled to go out even if they are breast feeding! What do you want?? Them to stay in their house until the child can feed itself? Sorry its the way I feel! Some people need their head seeing too!

Yeah I'm not to keen on it. I was working in a pub/restaurant and this women was breast feeding her kid at the table in the middle of the restaurant. I had to serve her, and I felt very awkward.

Other people didn't seem bothered, but when I had to take her order when she had her tits hanging out with a kid sucking them I didn't know where to look. I think I just stared at the floor.

Oh I so agree. We have had this conversation on threads here before, and some men are just tts about breastfeeding biggrin

I personally breast fed my son till he was 17 months old, and at no point did I have my breasts hang out for all to see. Tbh most people would not have even realised what I was doing, they would have just have thought my son was sleeping

You want the mother to head off to the toilet to feed her baby? Would YOU eat in the toilet? It's natural, and anyone who thinks otherwise is being a little prudish if you ask me.

I don't see why people have a problem with breast feeding in public. It is entirely natural. Also breast milk is much better for the baby than formula as it contains more vitamins and various immune system boosting enzymes and what not.
The only reason it is seen as "inapropriate" is because our society has fetishized breasts for so long that we have forgotten what their purpose is namely feeding a child.
Quite frankly people who have a problem with mothers breast feeding their babies in public need to grow up.

Totally agree.......but it's also express-able so that it can be fed from a properly sterilised bottle at the times when breast feeding is either impossible, like when you are apart, OR when you are in a situation where it may be inappropriate such as in a restaurant full of people!

But don't let that little fact get in the way of your "wimmin's" rights!
