Anyone had a sneak preview of this or know where one might find it on the net? Just heard about it on the radio and it sounds quite epic. Apparantly its first showing on TV will be during Coronation St tonight.

Am I seriously reading this thread? Sneak preview of the new Hovis advert, with whispered rumours it's gonna be on during Corrie?

rofl

Still, I liked that line in the hill-walking Warburton's advert. "Noo, he probably does all his baking on a laptop" xD

But they still have to earn a crust to get a slice of the dough.

I have a special breadknife that can cut four loaves of bread at once.

I call it a four-loafed cleaver.

Crumbs! I was just trying to get a rise out of people by posting this thread. At yeast it's more interesting than some of the chaff that's posted on here. Now get back to work, start using your loaf and earn your crust.

30 million to spend on a advert though! How did they get that kind of money was it through self-rising in the company?

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHH that was bad!

Sounds like you overcooked that fact, I heard it was £15m and that included the airtime. Actual ad was £1m AFAIK.

Well maybe we should toast to their success? That's a lot of bread to spend on a half-baked idea.

Bring on the adenoidal nerds

"ow, i believe the austin Princess in that video would not of been around at that particular time, classic schoolboy error.... ow"

Clever advert, didn't move me though, felt the kid needed to stab someone at the end to get the real authenticity.

Stuck on the very first one - but I'm sure there was an Anglea, Cortina, Princess, Dolamite, and an Astra at the end.

ETA: So is this why we now pay over £1 per loaf for decent bread?

Just watched it again on the utube link - looks like I missed out an A35 Van as well boxedin

saw it tonight in the movie previews. Pretty good but too 'big' for just bread! Also that kid annoyed me. No idea why, he just did biggrin

With you on that one.

More so at the end.

Not sure why either.
