Hi

It's probably nothing but I've been thinking about it for a few days now.

I live opposite a medical student who lives alone, I usually see her coming and going a few times a day along with the usual stuff, house lights on/off, car away etc.

She always tells us when she's going back home to her parents for holidays to keep an eye on the place, take any mail packages.

For about 10-12 days now, all the curtains are closed, the lights are never on, car hasn't moved and the postie asked us to take something for her about a week ago and put a note through her door - we still have it!

Starting to wonder if something has happened but what am I meant to do?

Any idea's or should I just leave it?

Possibly away on holiday but i'd go over and check - knock the door and have a wee peek in the letterbox.

Now, this suggestion is a bit out there, but maybe, just maybe, you could try knocking on the door?

Get a load of damp leaves, pile them up against the front door, set light to them and smoke her out. You'll know one way or another then...

No, open the package. It may be an insight to what she likes, nudge nudge

I've been getting concerned about the old dear opposite me. She is behaving a bit weird, and there are some odd smells coming from the house in the past week.

First off, one day a couple of weeks ago, she ordered two pints of milk instead of the normal single pint. Next day, she ordered three, next day four and so on. Just yesterday she ordered 14 pints of milk!

I wouldn't mind but half of them had gone sour when the milkman left them. Shocking service

If you know where she studies, phone and ask if they have seen her?
