Inflatable Canoes / Kayaks
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience of inflatable canoes or kayaks?
I go bodyboarding when the surf permits but sometimes on my day off I'll go to the beach (100 yards from my house
) and it is glassy calm.
I live in an apartment so a rigid kayak isn't an option (nowhere to keep it) but I saw inflatable ones on eBay which looked fun and won't take up too much storage room.
Any advice would be appreciated.

OOOH! Me! Me!
I've just come back from a 3 day mooch around the Lake District with a mate.

Was ace, however, take some duct tape and a bit of super glue. You can get a fair amount in the ends of the boats, and some in between the 2 people. And you can dangle cans of Stella into the water using the rope around the side, if you want to. Ahem.
ETA: Takes f
king ages to get all the air out, as the material used is quite thick. Resisted pointy rocks etc with me. Just a bit of glue to get on top of any cracks around the seals.

My brother sells them. Largest retailer of the things in the UK IIRC. Just google 'Inflatable Canoes' and his company will pop up, 2nd one down in sponsored links....begins with 'Adventure' ( not breaking the ad rules here am I?).... mention his little brother Tim and he'll give you a discount. PM me if you like.
I have several of my own, they're excellent. Far, far more capable than most people think, not toys at all. I'm in the same boat.....don't want to faff about with a roof rack and scratch my car, and I don't have the storage space anyway, it's very useful to have the canoe in my boot all the time though for those sunny evenings when I fancy getting out on the river or sea.
