my neighbours asked me ages ago if I wanted to go halves painting our house, they then decided in their wisdom to get someone around to paint the house over this weekend. it was absolutely hammering down. I was sick with a fever so really couldnt get into it.

My question is.. whilst it looks better, will the paint stay on, will moisture be sealed in, is it likely to last less time?

Thanks,

craig

Seems a very odd thing to do.

We get someone in to paint our place every few years. Sometimes it can be weeks after booking the guy for him to come round when he has a few days of guaranteed sunshine.

Are all the nearby drains now the same colour as the house?! hehe

it'll look very nice but the paint will peel off in a short while.

thats my concern, they are so infuriating. the biggest problem is that they are really stupid so when I try to explain any of this to them it wont sink in at all.
