The topic being discussed is one suggesting that an ethnic minority should be segregated for schooling based on nothing more than colour of skin. We're not talking about "labels" as you put it.

Hopefully, if you ever have children of your own, you will not have to go through the experience of being told that they have any problems. I have and it was hell and I suspect that Jessica's experience was similar.

Pathetic.

Children's needs whether it be from disadvantaged family backgrounds or "special needs" are equally important. If there is room for special treatment for the differently gifted then there is certainly room for Black kids to be pushed and treated properly in education.

Traditional education has been failing Black kids for years, amongs other things. Someone stands up suggest a fix, that will lead to those kids not becoming gang members etc and its wrong?

All the kids, White, black, yellow and brown are in the same class and receive the same lesson.

You saying that black kids are in some way thicker and slower to listen to the teacher and learn the lesson that all the other colours in the same room at the time?

Or are you suggesting that every teacher is actively racist and in some way gives every other shade of skin more attention and extra lessons that they do to Black kids?

You say its a step too far, in your fist post... well it isnt. Dont try and wriggle now. "Your Charity" is an excercise in self interest. Would you be involved if you didnt have kids with issues?

Its needed and the kids deserve it, They are abandoned by society and demonised in the press and by the public.

I work with this group of children
and i speak with authority that this is NOT the answer.
integration of all ethnicities is the answer not segregation.....

Yes it has. Arguing doesnt change the facts. Yes there are other issues of course, family breakdown is worse, lack of positive male role models. Society being ever so slightly racist, no matter how much we want to think otherwise. The press demonising kids form poor backgounds, where ethnic minorities are overrepresented.
I'd rather spend some money on them that perpetuate them and teach them to break a cycle.
