What's that painting ?

Going to be rather scant with clues here, but does anyone know of a painting described thus -

It was in just about everyones house in the late 70's.
It looks a bit Spanish.
It's a girl with, I think, a green face.

I don't think the artist did anything else of note, and after a frantic Google I can't come up with anything. Ideas ?

ah but Graham - you had the picture to hand and I just stumbled into the BBC mag website via Google...

I think my aunty had a copy in the early 70's, like just about anyone over 45 at that time...


can I get a copy and a cheapo frame these days, now that I'm 46??
