Giant Spider seen in Liverpool...

seen on the side of a building scaring people.

The three storey arachnid on the side of Concourse House was created by a French arts collective called La Machine, and promises to be the centrepiece of an enormous piece of street theatre.
When the beast - dubbed La Princess - wakes up on Friday morning, her legs will stretch out to nearly twice their length. Office workers had better beware because apparently she won't be in a good mood.
Have fun.

to the op, for gods sake dont encourage them! capital of culture my arse. (but you never hear ricky tomlinson saying that) the city is still a building site whilst just out of sight the decay is stil evident. i cant wait for the end of the year, one last hurrah from all the professional scousers about how great it was to live on scotty road and have no arse in yer kecks but you could leave yer front door open all day and night cos yer all had nothin worth nickin anyway... then they all sod off back down south. living on the lower edge of the wirral means blissful isolation from all this. many good things come from liverpool especially a first rate motorway network.
